Millennium Bridge and the Glasshouse (still the Sage to most of us), from the Newcastle Quayside on Wednesday 23 September.
This was the first Tyne Light shoot, and not the one I’d planned. I’d meant to shoot from the High Level Bridge, but the scaffolding on the Tyne Bridge was too much of a distraction, so with the light already going I was rushing up and down the Quayside trying to find somewhere else. I got set up with minutes to spare and I’m glad I did. The arch was lit purple that night, which I wasn’t expecting, but I’m not complaining.
