Newcastle Quayside from Gateshead, Wednesday 30 September
The Quayside from the Gateshead side, just along from the Glasshouse, on Wednesday 30 September. All Saints spire, the lit trees along the river and the reflections, as the sky went from dusk to deep blue.
The light wasn’t great on the night, so this turned out better than I expected. Towards the end I wandered round to the Tyne Bridge side of the Glasshouse and liked the view from there even more, so I’ll be back for another go with a better spot and, fingers crossed, a decent sky. Still a great night out, chatting to quite a few people while the cameras were running.
