This is the vastest, emptiest place I can imagine. With a surface area of over 10,000 square kilometres, it’s the world’s biggest salt plan. When the rains come in January and February, it also becomes the world’s biggest mirror. I was there at the right time of year to get the reflections, but didn’t strike it lucky with the clear bird skies. Although I got some minimal shots, I feel the need to go back for some more dramatic shots of sunset with epic skies. .
