Shooting Las Cuatro Torres in Madrid
I lived in Madrid for three years, long before I was seriously into photography, so this trip was partly about capturing some old memories. The Cuatro Torres business area is a part of the city I remember well, but this time I wasn’t after a postcard shot of the skyline. I was there to take abstract architectural pictures, picking out the lines, reflections and repeating patterns in the glass and steel of the towers.
I shot everything on the Fujifilm X-T4. I’d planned to use a tripod, but security told me off because I didn’t have permission, so I carried on handheld. If you want to shoot on a tripod around the towers, it’s worth asking first, or be discreet and chance it…!
